This page collects updates from the coalition: announcements about membership meetings, new training materials, opportunities for consumer advocates to join research and guideline panels, and short reports on events where member organizations represented the patient perspective.
What we report on
- Meetings and summits — dates, agendas and follow-up reports from annual membership meetings. Past reports are archived on the CUE Meeting Reports page, and slides on Annual Meeting Presentations.
- Training — new or updated modules of the free online courses on evidence-based healthcare, described in Education & Training.
- Engagement opportunities — calls for consumer reviewers, survey participants and panel members, gathered in the Partnership Clearinghouse.
- Virtual sessions — online discussions for advocates, listed under CUE Virtual Sessions.
Why consumer news matters
Many decisions about which health questions get studied, and how results are turned into recommendations, are made in committees that consumers rarely hear about. Sharing calls for participation early gives member organizations time to nominate advocates, prepare them and make sure the people who live with a condition are heard while the work is still being shaped.
